The Hezhou Municipal Government held a promotion and press release event in Guangzhou on May 13th. According to information provided by the Hezhou Municipal Government, Hezhou “has the largest white marble deposit in Central South and South China, with reserves of 2.6 billion cubic meters, of which calcium carbonate content is greater than 99%, whiteness is greater than 95 degrees, and technical indicators reach China's premium mine level. With a speed of 20 million tons per year, it is enough to mine for more than 300 years; the reserves of granite are also very rich, with reserves of about 3.12 billion cubic meters, which is an indispensable resource for the development of new building materials.

　　Relevant person in charge revealed that in this year and next year, Hezhou City will have more than 120 artificial granite production lines put into operation, which will become China's largest artificial granite production base. In the new building materials industry, Hezhou has accelerated the promotion of energy-efficient buildings and realized economical and intensive use of land. At present, Guangxi Xuteng Industrial Group invested 1.96 billion yuan in new building materials nanotechnology board project has settled in Hezhou. It is estimated that after the project is completed and put into production, the annual output value will reach 3 billion yuan and the annual tax revenue will be about 250 million yuan.
